I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees

My daughter begged me to see the Lorax...I thought ok, just another mindless animation for the kids...I was presently suprised by the story line and enviromental theme...

The story is somewhat what is happening at the moment in the world...where the world is at a tipping is not  too far fetched to imagine that the world looking like a concrete jungle amongst desert barren lands a few hundred years down the track...unless people start caring...there is a old native american saying "Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realize we cannot eat money"

My 7 year old son was saying shaking his head with the 3D glasses on, "this is really really bad", when all the trees where chopped, and "poor animals" when they left the barren land....I found it difficult to hold back a tear at the end...

Here is part of the book from Dr. Seuss (The Lorax)

I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees.
I speak for the trees, for the trees have no tongues,
And I'm asking you, sir, at the top of my lungs
He was very upset as he shouted and puffed
"What's that THING you've made out of my Truffula tuft?"
I am the Lorax! I speak for the trees,
Which you seem to be chopping as fast as you please;
But I also speak for the brown Barbaloots,
Who frolicked and played in their Barbaloot suits,
Happily eating Truffula fruits.
Now, since you've chopped the trees to the ground
There's not enough Truffula fruit to go 'round!
And my poor Barbaloots are all feeling the crummies
Because they have gas, and no food, in their tummies.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
nothing is going to get better. It's not.

I am Space4Zen, I speak for the trees, and so can you!  Unless we all care an awful lot more, nothing is going to get better...Its not...
